Blog Comment Policy

• Messages containing intentionally misleading information, defamatory content, threats, verbal abuse, personal attacks, name-calling, harassment, obscenity or personal information about other individuals are not allowed.
  
  
• Privacy affecting personal information.
  
  
• Posts must be commercial-free. Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations are unacceptable.
  
  
• Messages considered spam,including multiple disruptive, meaningless or repetitive messages, or messages posted solely for solicitation (as determined by the sole discretion of KCLS staff) can be deleted without warning or explanation.
  
  
• Off-topic or duplicate comments will not be accepted.
  
  
• Comment periods are limited. Blog postings will accept comments for a finite period, after which the posting is closed and no further comments will be accepted.
  
  
• Fair use should be respected. Do not post entire articles into comments or forums. Post, instead a brief summary and link to the complete source.
  
  
• HTML is accepted. Comments that distract from the KCLS page layout will be edited.
  
  
• Content posted in comment signature fields is subject to the above posting policy.
  
  
• Trackbacks are subject to the above posting policy.
