Contracting

Small business ownersThe King County Library System actively encourages small businesses, including minority and women owned businesses and historically underutilized businesses, to participate in contracting opportunities.

Contracting Forums for Small Businesses
KCLS sponsors outreach events to inform small businesses about upcoming contracting opportunities. Learn more about the contracting forum that was held in June 2008.

Small Works Roster
Small business owners who specialize in construction-related services may apply to be on the Small Works Roster. KCLS utilizes a shared procurement portal with small works, professional services, general services and supply/vendor rosters that are shared by several local government agencies. Any vendor may join one or more of the rosters for free by visiting the eCityGov’s procurement portal.

To view a listing of upcoming contracting opportunities, check out the current project bid listings.

If you have questions about the Small Works Roster, contact Kelly Iverson at 425-369-3308.
