Accelerated Reader

For many years KCLS has supported the Accelerated Reader Data Base. In 2010 the company sold to Renaissance Learning which moved to a web based model, rather than individual, customized school listings. Nearly all schools in our service area use the new model. In addition, schools have not been updating the old data base and usage has dropped significantly from over 41,000 in 2010 to 7,000 in 2012. Given all this the decision has been made to delete the old Accelerated Reader Data Base and provide a link to the new web based model.
