Auburn Library Closed for Expansion & Renovation Beginning May 30
Visit us at the temporary location, opening June 3 in the beige building across the parking lot, behind Big Daddy's.
- Library service will not be available between May 30 and June 2.
Please visit other KCLS libraries for assistance: Muckleshoot, Algona-Pacific, Kent, Covington or Federal Way.
- You can return library materials in the outside book return until June 2. After that, please use the outdoor return at the temporary location.
- Any holds that become available during the dates the library is closed will be moved to the temporary location and will be available when it opens on June 3.
- For holds in your account waiting to be filled, you can change the pick-up library for those items in the holds management section of your account on kcls.org. Please ask staff for assistance if needed.
Services available in the temporary location include:
- Placing and picking up holds.
- A small number of Internet computers for public use.
- Some items for check out, including books and DVDs for children and adults.
- Friends of the Library book sale shelf.
- The same friendly library staff to assist you!
