Bellevue Friends of the Library


Mission Statement
The Bellevue Friends of the Library (BFOL) are interested citizens who organize to volunteer their time and efforts on behalf of the Bellevue Regional Library, arranging programs and activities of interest to the community and providing direct financial assistance for enrichment of library services.

New members are always welcome. Annual membership is only $15. The first year is free for Corner Bookshop volunteers. Download a membership application form here.

Activities:

Book Discussion Group
The group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 10am to noon, in Meeting Room 1 at Bellevue Regional Library. Drop-in participants are welcome.

Corner Bookshop
The Bellevue Friends operate and distribute the income from The Corner Book Shop in the library.

BFOL funds Bellevue Library programs such as:

  • Fall and spring Shakespeare series
  • Opera previews
  • Book Discussion Group
  • Summer reading programs
  • Author visits
  • Children, Young adult and adult programs
  • Special library requests for purchases and events
BFOL also funds programs at Lake Hills Library and Crossroads Connection
