Bellevue Friends of the Library
The Bellevue Friends of the Library (BFOL) are interested citizens who organize to volunteer their time and efforts on behalf of the Bellevue Library, arranging programs and activities of interest to the community and providing direct financial assistance for enrichment of library services.
The Friends operate The Corner Bookshop at the Bellevue Library. Funds raised from the book shop support library programs & services at the Bellevue, Crossroads & Lake Hills libraries, including opera previews, book discussion groups, author visits, book and other programs designed to meet the needs of children, teens and adults.

Book Discussion Group
The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month, September through June, 10am to noon. Drop-in participants are welcome.
Due to construction on the Bellevue Library parking garage, for the 2011-2012 season, the group will meet at the Bellettini, 1115 108th Avenue NE, Bellevue WA 98004.

Corner Bookshop
** The Corner Book Shop at the Bellevue Regional Library is currently closed for remodeling. Please join us for a Grand Re-Opening at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Treats will be served in the morning and "Buy one/ Get one free" coupons will a available (one per customer) for use that day. Extended Shop hours on Opening Day are 10am to 7pm. **
The Bellevue Friends operate and distribute the income from The Corner Book Shop in the library.
BFOL funds Bellevue Library programs such as:
- Fall and spring Shakespeare series
- Opera previews
- Book Discussion Group
- Summer reading programs
- Author visits
- Children, Young adult and adult programs
- Special library requests for purchases and events
