Most Recent Update:

April 2008
Last month, KCLS staff met with the Duvall Library Advisory Board to discuss the project. The Mayor and Planning Director of the City also attended the meeting. The City has approved the rezone of the area that will include the new Duvall Library on the southern edge of the town near Big Rock Road. This rezone was a critical step for the developer purchasing the land and a site for the library is included in the new development. Next steps include further legal work to complete a memorandum of understanding between KCLS and the developer to secure the parcel of land and its general location in the new area.
