The Details;
Construction work to expand the Federal Way Library is
currently underway, a couple of years ahead of the proposed start date (2010). The
$8.1 million plan includes a 9,500 square foot expansion of the current 25,000 square foot
library, as well as more materials, computers, wireless access and space for
children and teens. The plan also includes upkeep and maintenance of the library
during the next decade.
