Foster/Tukwila Construction Project

Estimated Start of Project: Pending the city’s plans for the Tukwila Village development.

• An 8,000 square foot library as the cornerstone of the new Tukwila Village, with more materials, computers, wireless access and space for children and teens.
• Upkeep and maintenance of the library during the next decade.

The City of Tukwila continues to make progress on developing Tukwila Village. The City has received responses from nine developers and will narrow the list down to three by May 1. City officials have invited KCLS to participate in the review process as the City still sees the Library as the cornerstone project in the development.
