Issaquah Library Construction Project
The Details:
Interior improvements to the Issaquah Library as part of the 2004 Capital Bond include new carpet, paint, furniture and reconfiguration of the meeting room. An automated materials handling system also will be installed.

Following a closure October 12-16 to reconfigure the reference desk area, demolish the wall between the meeting room and the Children’s Area and to erect a temporary wall to isolate construction activities, the library was reopened and general construction of the new glass partition and rolling door has proceeded as planned. Completion of all construction, including adjusting the height of the reference shelving and installation of LED shelf lighting, is anticipated for early December.
