Kent Library Construction Project

The Details:
Construction work to renovate the interior of the Kent Library has been completed. The project included interior remodeling such as relocating the meeting rooms, restrooms and front entrance. An automated materials-handling system was also be installed in the backroom to speed delivery.

Renovation work is nearing completion. The project includes remodeling the interior, relocating the meeting rooms and restrooms and moving the staff workroom closer to the entrance. The enhancements will provide more public space and allow staff to better monitor patron activity throughout the building. The Library will reopen on March 6 at 10am, with several musical programs planned throughout the day. Learn more
