Kingsgate Library Construction Project

The Original Plan Includes:

• A new 12,000 square foot replacement library at the current site with more materials, computers, wireless access and space for children and teens.
• Upkeep and maintenance of the library during the next decade.

Strategic Planning Guidelines Potential Modification:
Renovate the existing library, rather than building a replacement library at the existing site. This is due to the relatively low population growth forecast for the area, the site being restricted by utilities, a considerable sentiment to preserve the existing library and an abundance of nearby library resources.
