Kirkland Library Construction Project

The Details:
Construction of the expanded Kirkland Library is under way. The $3.29 million plan includes a 4,000 square foot expansion of the current 15,000 square foot library, as well as more materials, computers, wireless access and space for children and teens. The plan also includes three meeting rooms.

• Library Address: Existing site, at 308 Kirkland Avenue

• Contractor: Kirtley Cole

• Service: During construction, a temporary site will be available at Parkplace Books, offering a book drop, holds pick-up area, wireless access, six computer terminals and a small browsing collection. More information
