The planning process to remodel and expand the Newport Way Library is currently underway. The project also includes more materials, computers, wireless access and space for children and teens as well as an automated materials-handling system to speed delivery.

The bidding process is currently underway for the Newport Way Library expansion project. Construction work is anticipated to start in May 2010. During construction, services will be available at a temporary site at Factoria Mall.
