Redmond Library Construction Project
Details:
Interior improvements to Redmond Library were completed in January 2009. Enhancements include new paint and carpet, installation of the complete Wayfinding signage package, expanded teen and World Language areas, new circulation desks, new furniture and reconfiguration of the public computer area and the self check-out stations. A shelter was installed outside the library at the self check-in stations, to protect patrons from the weather. Although the Capital Improvement Plan called for expanded parking at the library, the parking was already expanded when the City Hall moved next door and a joint parking lot was coordinated. KCLS is prepared for further parking expansion if necessary.
