Volunteering at the Bothell Library

Welcome! Want to help out at the library?
We have many opportunities available! The Bothell Library welcomes and encourages people to volunteer their time and services to help the library deliver quality materials and services to the public. Volunteers help out by performing tasks that help keep our books and materials handy to our community. Some of these tasks involve:
- Cleaning and repairing books, CDs, tapes, and videos.
- Pulling materials that have been requested by other libraries.
- Shelving "hold" materials that have been reserved by patrons.
- Helping students as tutors in our Study
Zone.
- Delivering books and materials to homebound citizens as part of the Traveling
Library.
- Teaching and assisting patrons on how to use a personal computers as a
Netmaster.
- Assisting librarians and staff members with special projects or programs including the Friends of the Bothell Library Book Sale.
Volunteers are essential to the smooth running and operations of the library,
and their commitment is important to us.
