Redmond Reads Poetry: Jack Straw Writers

Redmond Library

The Redmond Library hosts a 2013 Jack Straw Reading featuring four
prominent local poets. This will be the final event of the season for the Redmond Poet Laureate. The four writers will be Larry Crist, Emily Perez, Dennis Caswell and Jeannine Hall Gailey (Redmond's Poet Laureate.) All have published widely and their poetry will be available to peruse or purchase. Refreshments will be available.

Introduction to Origami for Adults

Redmond Library

Origami artists from PAPER will be teaching a two session introduction to origami for adults at the Redmond Library. In this class learn the basic folds, read origami diagrams and create a few wonderfully fun pieces to take home. All models will be simply explained and easy to fold. Materials will be provided by PAPER.
