Jeanette Brizendine is the Solid Waste and Recycling Project Manager for the City of Federal Way. Over the last six years, she has provided recycling outreach to the single-family residents, multi-family residents, businesses and schools in the City of Federal Way. Her dedication and creative approaches to educational outreach have shown positive results. Jeanette is the recipient of the 2012 Washington State Recycling Association Individual Recycler of the Year.

AARP Driver Safety Class

This one-day classroom refresher course helps drivers refine existing skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques. AARP members and non-members may take the course, which is designed for motorists ages 50 and over. There is a fee of $12-14 for participants who wish to receive an AARP certificate.
