LGBTQ Discussion Group for All Teens

All teens welcome to discuss LGBTQ issues in a safe and respectful environment. Snacks provided. We meet at the Maple Valley Library on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month from 4:30-6pm.

Maple Valley Library Guild Meeting

The Maple Valley Library Guild is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the library through fundraising and sponsorship of programs and services. All are welcome!

Maple Valley Library Advisory Board Meeting

The Library Advisory Board advocates for library services in the greater Maple Valley area, including intellectual freedom and KCLS' mission of providing free and open access to ideas and information. The Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Maple Valley City Council, acting as a liaison between the Maple Valley Library, the City of Maple Valley and the King County Library System. To effectively represent the Maple Valley community and to seek and obtain information, meetings are held the first Thursday of every other month, February-December. Meetings abide by the Open Public Meetings Act and the public is encouraged to attend.

This introduction to the world of home brewing covers the basics of beer making using malt extract and includes a discussion of beer ingredients, equipment needed, and the basic beer making process.

We're opening up the library on a Friday night just for teens. Play video games, snack, use library computers or just hangout. FREE!
