Fiestas de Alfabetización/Early Literacy Parties

Valley View Library

Each or the “Fiestas” offer eight sequential workshops designed for Spanish-speaking families to prepare their children for Kindergarten. The Fiestas help parents and caregivers teach children the basic learning skills they’ll need before they can actually read and write.
In each of the ”Fiestas” series, KCLS provides families with information about Early Literacy, free books in Spanish, craft materials, snacks, beverages and the opportunity to socialize with other Spanish speaking families. These sessions are free.

Cada serie de “Fiestas” se ofrecen una secuencia de 8 talleres diseñados para que las familias de habla hispana preparen a sus hijos para el Kindergarten.
Los programas de Alfabetización Temprana ayudan a los padres y cuidadores a enseñar a los niños las habilidades básicas que necesitaran antes de aprender a leer y escribir.
En cada serie de “Fiestas” El KCLS ofrece a las familias información sobre Alfabetización temprana, libros gratuitos en español, materiales para las manualidades, bocadillos, bebidas y la oportunidad de socializarse con otros padres hispanos. Los talleres son gratuitos
