Friends of the Covington Library
The Friends of the Covington Library is an independent (501c3) corporation. The purpose of the organization is to work for the benefit, improvement, and welfare of the Covington Library, a branch of the King County Library System; to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs; to promote library use; and to raise funds to enhance and augment the purpose, programs, services and facilities of the library and/or King County Library System as appropriate.

- Opportunities to participate in the semi-annual book sales
- Fellowship of other library Friends
- Ten informational meetings each year and voting privileges for Friends

New members are always welcome. The Friends meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Covington Library meeting room except in July & August. Membership for Friends of the Covington Library is $5.00 per year for adults and $2.00 for students (K-12).
Used Book Sale
The Friends hold book sales each year on the last weekends in February and September. They also maintain ongoing book sale shelves in the library throughout the year. Donations are gladly accepted at any time.
