Friends of the Covington Library


Friends of the Covington Library is a nonprofit group whose purpose is to support the Covington Library and the King County Library System through volunteerism, fund-raising activities, and sponsorship of programs and services. Your membership offers you the opportunity to share thoughts, donate your time, or lend your talents.

Members receive the following benefits:

  • 25% Discount on new books at Baker Street Books in Black Diamond
  • Opportunities to participate in the Annual Book Sales
  • Fellowship of other library Friends
  • Invitations to the monthly meetings and voting privileges for the Friends of the Covington Library

Please join us . . .
New members are always welcome. The Friends meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Covington Library meeting room. Membership for Friends of the Covington Library is $5.00 per year for adults and $2.00 for students.

Used Book Sale
The Friends hold book sales each year. They also maintain ongoing book sale carts in the library throughout the year. Donations are gladly accepted at any time.
