Welcome to the King County Library System!
The Enumclaw Library recently joined the King County Library System (KCLS) on June 1, and KCLS is pleased to welcome all Enumclaw residents to the KCLS network of 47 community libraries. We know you love your Enumclaw Library, and hope you will be equally delighted as the newest member of KCLS. We are doing our best to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to your library services.
What does this mean for Enumclaw residents?
Through your beloved Enumclaw Library, you will have access to the entire KCLS collection and library services. That means you can browse and place holds on any of the four million items KCLS offers all delivered to you at the Enumclaw Library (or other KCLS library location of your choice). And you're always welcome to visit all branches of the KCLS network.
As a KCLS library, the Enumclaw Library will offer a refreshed and expanded selection of books, magazines, music, DVDs, learning kits, computer workstations, computer classes, online resources, and programs tailored to the needs and interests of Enumclaw residents of all ages, from infants to seniors and everyone in between. The Enumclaw Library staff is involved in the changeover, with support from KCLS staff as well, to complete the necessary changes as quickly and smoothly as we can.
Prior hours continue to be in place until July 1 when open hours will be expanded from 36 hours to 63, including Fridays and Sundays.
Sunday 1-5; Monday -Thursday 10-9, Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-5.
Though Enumclaw Library is now part of the King County Library System, it remains a vital part of your community. Please come in, get your new KCLS library card if you don't yet have one, say hello to your Enumclaw Library staff and meet a few new faces from the KCLS staff who will serve in Enumclaw.
