A day of curiosity, connection and community!

Join KCLS as we celebrate our Friends, Guilds, and Library Association Members at the 2025 Friends Day event.

The annual Friends Day honors our dedicated library volunteers for their invaluable contributions to our community, and this year's theme will be Curiosity, Connection and Community! Connect with KCLS Executive Director Heidi Daniel, KCLS Foundation Executive Director Lisa Yamasaki, and SPL Chief Librarian Tom Fay and participate in networking and strategy breakout sessions. Food and drink will be provided, and there will be bookmark giveaways and a drawing.

Friends Day 2025 will be held on Saturday, September 27, from 9am-12:30pm at the KCLS Service Center, 960 Newport Way, NW, 98027.
