Flyaway
by Lucy Christopher

Every year Isla and her father go to see the swans return to their town. But everything changes when the swans run into power lines that prevent them from landing, and Isla’s father is suddenly struck down by serious illness. Then Isla meets Harry, a boy in the children’s ward of the hospital. Together they decide to help a lone swan that seems unable to fly, and Isla learns how to help Harry, her father, and herself.
