Book Description

"Little Life Lesson #1. Life is a lot like hair. Some mornings you get up and it looks great. Other mornings you can tell it's out to get you. Even on the best days, part of you wishes yours were more like that girl's whose picture you see all the time in magazines. Oh, and if you're me, they can both have very bad ends.

Jas has all kinds of Little Life Lessons--partly wise, partly sarcastic, and always great fun. She and her friends (seen first in Bad Kitty) are adept at solving crimes (and occasionally committing them), seeking out amazing guys, and being totally fashionable at all times.

Instead of employing the footnotes, commentary and sidenotes used in the original book, the new graphic novel uses an extra panel at the bottom of some pages with one-liners from characters--almost like graphic subtitles. Crazy as it sounds, it keeps the action moving, and keeps the giggles flowing.

No cussing or nekkidness but Jas does (finally!) secure a few hard-earned kisses from Jack the Unstoppably Hot boyfriend."
