An interactive site designed by NIAAA for college students, parents, RAs, and college administrators featuring research publications, fact sheets, news and other links.

The Cool Spot
Sponsored by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, this interactive site was designed for young people and it features FAQs, quizzes, statistics, and facts about different types of alcohol. Provides resources on the dangers of underage drinking and tips on resisting peer pressure.

Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free
A unique coalition of Governor’s spouses, Federal agencies, and public and private organizations, the “leadership” is an initiative to prevent the use of alcohol by children ages 9 to 15. Includes statistics, legislations by state, ongoing research and leadership publications in both English and Spanish. Helpful guides for community, educators and individuals to take action or be proactive in the effort are listed under the topic “What You Can Do.”

NIAAA Initiative on Underage Drinking
An initiative to raise public concern about the seriousness of underage drinking based on recent scientific advances and research. Full of print and multimedia resources including statistics on underage drinking, strategies for action, and printable posters and fliers.
