Bar Association Commission on Domestic Violence
Provides a wide range of statistics regarding domestic violence and discusses
many common myths about its causes and consequences. Also includes definitions
and indicators of abuse, cyberstalking facts and strategies for dealing with
domestic violence. The American Bar Association is the largest national representative
organization for the legal profession.
Family Violence Prevention Fund
Includes a comprehensive list of fact sheets for a variety of domestic violence-related
topics such as guns, immigrant women, children, the military and the workplace.
Also includes a section specifically for teens that discusses dating violence
and safety planning. The Family Violence Prevention Fund (FVPF) is a non-profit
organization working to end violence against women and children around the world.
National Coalition Against Domestic Violence
(NCADV)
The NCADV serves as a national information and referral center.
State statistics relating to domestic violence are available in the “resources” section.

Violence Hotline
Includes hotline information, explanations and statistics regarding domestic
violence and specialized information for teens. Produced by the Texas Council
on Family Violence.

This site primarily covers dating violence. Includes tips on how to recognize
abuse and how to help both victims and abusers. Legal rights are discussed and
telephone Hotline numbers are provided for English and Español speakers.
