Columbia Encyclopedia 
The Columbia Encyclopedia, 6th Edition, 2001 includes nearly 51,000 brief articles with hypertext links. Search by entering a term in the search box or by browsing the index. Other resources, such as the World Factbook, American Heritage Dictionary, Roget’s Thesaurus, Simpson’s and Bartlett’s quotations, several English usage services, and the King James Bible, are available on Bartleby.com.

Encarta Reference 
Featuring Encarta Concise Encyclopedia, an abridged version of the award-winning Encarta Encyclopedia on CD-ROM, as well as a dictionary and atlas service. Each article provides hypertext words to other articles, additional media (such as sound and image files), and related web sites. A citation format suggestion is listed at the end of each article. Individual articles are hypertext-outlined and can be browsed.
