From PBS, the information on slavery is divided into 4 time periods
from the Europeans arrival in Western Africa until the end of the Civil
War (1450-1865). Each section includes an historical narrative and a
resource bank of pictures, documents, stories and much more.

Slavery: Slave Narratives from the Federal Writer’s Project, 1936-1938
Includes 2300 first-person accounts of slavery and 500 black and white
photographs of former slaves, from the Library of Congress. Best for
older student because searching is not simple. Can browse contents by
state, keyword or narrator and browse photos by subject.
Chronology
of the History of Slavery and Racism
Taken from research at the Smithsonian, this site is almost all text
(a few maps) and is divided into 3 parts: 1619-1789, 1790-1829 and 1830-1990s.
Juneteenth
Provides information on Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration commemorating
