From the Centers for Disease Control, this site features data and statistics on school violence, as well as risk and protective factors and prevention tools and resources.

A guide issued jointly in 1998 by the Department of Education and the Department of Justice, available in both PDF and online formats.  The guide includes information on early warning signs, getting help for troubled children, developing  a prevention and response plan, responding to crisis, and resources.

Indicators of School Crime and Safety: 2011
This annual report issued by the National Center for Education Statistics covers topics such as victimization, teacher injury, bullying, school conditions, fights, weapons, availability and student use of drugs and alcohol, and student perceptions of personal safety at school.

National School Safety Center
