A collection of resources on cool roofs, which use reflective materials that stay up to 60 degrees cooler than traditional dark-colored roofs. These roofs reduce energy costs, increase the lifecycle of the roof and contribute to the reduction of associated smog. This site is from the California Energy Commission.
