Kent Library closed beginning September 16, 2009.

The library will close for construction beginning September 16 and will re-open at a temporary location, 406 West Meeker Street, Suite A.

The construction will include interior remodeling, relocating the meeting rooms, restrooms and front entrance. An automated materials-handling system will also be installed in the backroom to speed delivery to patrons.

Temporary Location Services: paperback browsing and small children’s collection, holds pickup and returns available during open hours.

Holds for the Kent Library will automatically be sent to the temporary location (406 West Meeker Street, Suite A) during the closure unless patrons request another library.

Temporary Location Open Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 10am–7pm
Friday, 10am–6pm
Saturday, 10am–5pm
Sunday, 1–5pm
Tuesday Story Times: 7–8pm
