WorkSource Connection
When times get tough, look to your library for information, ideas and
inspiration. If financial hardship
has already hit you and your family, your community library can help
you explore new career opportunities and learn how to reduce expenses.
Across King County people are feeling the economic pinch: layoffs, reduced
hours, decreased benefits and mounting bills. To help people cope and
get back on their feet, KCLS is hosting how-to demonstrations of the
latest job-search and financial tools. If you’re not already a
library user, today is an excellent day to get started.

WorkSource Connection Status
Connection sites are internet‐based access points to WorkSource. The sites operate as nonfinancial partnerships between community based organizations, libraries, colleges, and WorkSource, created to increase access and services for job seekers, lower costs, make better use of technology, relay information, and increase community collaboration. The King County Library System was awarded WorkSource Connection status in 2009.
