Building Notes: New building is twice the size of the old library. Expanded parking to accommodate increased size of building. Includes a meeting room for public use. Increased collection and staff, increased access to online information and extended open hours. The new library is an exciting addition to the Maple Valley community. The facility is near Lake Wilderness Park, an arboretum, a community center and a golf course. Library activities will complement this connection with the environment. Funding: From the Library District bond issue for new construction, and from capital funds.
