Newport Way Library Association

The Newport Way Library Association is a nine member volunteer board that plans, executes, and raises funds to financially support Newport Way Library programs and projects. Founded on the premise that a neighborhood with a first rate library is a better place to live, the Association supplements the services provided by the library's budget and works to make Newport Way Library a truly excellent resource for all members of the community.

The Newport Way Library Association annually sponsors many programs and events including:

  • Opera Previews

  • Musical presentations from such groups as "Magical Strings"

  • Theatre group presentations for library users of all ages

  • Children's programs

  • Writing seminars and classes

The Newport Way Library Association has also provided funding for furniture, equipment, and art for the Library building including:

  • Enamel artwork, "Primer" by Harold Balazs

  • Piano

  • Table-top puppet stage and puppets

If you are interested in joining the Newport Way Library Association in support of the many programs and activities at the Newport Way Library please pick up a membership form at the Newport Way Library today.
