Newport Way Library
Newport Way Library Association
The Newport Way Library Association is a nine member volunteer
board that plans, executes, and raises funds to financially support Newport
Way Library programs and projects. Founded on the premise that a neighborhood
with a first rate library is a better place to live, the Association supplements
the services provided by the library's budget and works to make Newport Way
Library a truly excellent resource for all members of the community.
The Newport Way Library Association annually sponsors many programs and events
including:

Opera Previews
-
Musical presentations from such groups as "Magical Strings"

Theatre group presentations for library users of all ages

Children's programs

Writing seminars and classes
The Newport Way Library Association has also provided funding for furniture, equipment, and art for the Library building including:

Enamel artwork, "Primer" by Harold Balazs

Piano
- Table-top puppet stage and puppets
