The KCLS Children’s Librarians can provide free Early Literacy presentations for groups of parents, caregivers and early childhood professionals. The length of the presentation can be tailored to fit your needs and STARS-approved education credit can be provided. The group must reside or work in the KCLS service area and a minimum of five people per group is needed. We can present at your group meeting location or at the library. To schedule a presentation, please contact your local library and ask for the Children’s Librarian.
Quarterly, throughout the year, we also have workshops in our branches that provide STARS credit for child care providers. Check our Stars Registration to see if a STARS workshop is scheduled soon.
