About the Center Nonprofit & Philanthropy Resource Center
A Nonprofit & Philanthropy Resource Center that serves the entire King County Library System is located at the Redmond
Regional Library. This collection is comprised of information on such topics as nonprofit organizations and all aspects of fundraising and philanthropy.
The Foundation Center has granted the King County Library System status as a “Cooperating Collection” in their national “Cooperating Collections Network.” This
Network includes organizations in every state that provide information on private
philanthropic giving to the grantseeking public. Their database, Foundation
Directory Online Professional (FDO Professional), is available on three computers designated for those doing grant research. The database includes 80,000 foundations and corporate giving programs and 250,000 IRS 990s that are fully searchable. The database is updated weekly. The collection and grant research computers are located near the Reference Desk and results can be printed, saved to disk, flash drive or zip disk (provided by the user).
The Redmond Regional Library also provides study areas and 62 PC workstations that have Internet connections, Microsoft Office software and the King County Library System catalog. The KCLS catalog provides access to more than 2.4 million items in the System. The Redmond Regional Library has information to help you research projects of interest to nonprofit organizations.

The Library also has a meeting room that holds twelve people and another that holds 150 people or can be divided into two rooms holding 65 people each. Meeting rooms are free of charge for noncommercial use. Two small study rooms can be reserved. Parking at the Library is free.
