Charity Commission for England and Wales
The Charity Commission is the independent regulator for charitable activity. Their Web site includes a searchable Register of Charities in the two countries and lists job opportunities in the sector. It also provides news and support to charities.

Funding Sector
“Funding Central is managed by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations in partnership with j4b Software and Publishing and is funded by the Office of the Third Sector. It covers national funding and finance opportunities for voluntary and community organisations operating in England from European, national, regional and local government and charitable sources. It provides access to thousands of funding and finance opportunities, plus a wealth of tools and resources supporting organisations to develop sustainable income strategies appropriate to their needs.”

International Documentary Association
Provides fiscal sponsorship for IDA members.

International Volunteer Programs Association (IVPA)
The International Volunteer Programs Association (IVPA) is an association of non-governmental organizations involved in international volunteer work and internship exchanges.   For students involved in internship exchanges, there is a section of fundraising tips.

SRA International Grants Web Resources
The Society of Research Administrators is the national association for grant writers that write, manage or administer grants from the federal government, state governments and some private source grants. Their Grants Web includes material on applying for federal grants, grant forms and aids, and links to information about funds available from different levels of government. Some international links are included.

United States International Grantmakers
The purpose of this site is to facilitate international grantmaking by providing access to recommended forms with instructions, country reports and laws, and other informational materials and resources. It serves both grantmakers and grantseekers to support the process of making grants overseas.

World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (WANGO)
WANGO serves and supports NGOs and works to increase understanding of the role they play. Their Web site includes access to information on NGOs in more than 170 nations as well as an excellent handbook for NGO leaders and others interested in understanding them.
