Sustainable Futures Book Group
Redmond Regional Library, 2nd
Wednesday of the month at 7pm
The Sustainable Futures Book Group is a monthly meeting of people who
are concerned with issues relating to the environment and sustainability. Each
month the group centers their conversation around a single book, author, or
topic. The group encourages newcomers.
Sustainable Futures Book Club Schedule:
May 14th:
Read any book about positive futures written by a politician. Apollo's
Fire by Jay Inslee or This
Moment on Earth by John Kerry and
Teresa Heinz Kerry are two examples, but there are many more.
June 11th:
The discussion will focus on Omnivore's Dilemma,
by Michael Pollan.
