With funds raised through membership fees and fundraising activities such as the annual art show and KCLS used booksale, the Friends fund special programs, outreach activities, building/grounds enhancements, and purchase supplies and equipment beyond what is provided by the King County Library System. Friends also assist with library activities and serve as volunteer recruiters and organizers for special functions.
