Bringing Puppets to Life in the Classroom
Presented by Mary Shaver
This experienced puppeteer, performer and teacher will help you discover ways to utilize puppets in the early childhood classroom. Learn to express emotions, develop character and manipulate puppets. Bring your own hand-puppet to class.

Nurturing Compassion

Compassion is the desire to alleviate another’s suffering and we are biologically inclined to feel empathy for others. The seeds of compassion can be nurtured in many ways, by providing experiences of giving, modeling kindness and encouraging discussions with children on ways they can help others.
