Book Cover Walking Tour

The KCLS Book Cover Walking Tour is a display of over 100 framed book jacket covers for all ages creating an outdoor gallery throughout King County communities.

The inspiration for the tour is to provide an opportunity for the public to interact and engage with books in a fun and unique way. The inaugural tour extended from March-May 2011, during which more than 100 framed book jacket covers created outdoor galleries in eight communities in King County.

The Bellevue community will enjoy another few months of touring framed six-foot tall book jacket covers. The remainder of the 2011 tour covers (over eighty book covers!) will adorn the construction fence around the Bellevue Library parking area and in the library lobby while a new three-level parking garage is constructed.
