The King County Library System Video Book Review Contest

You’re likely going to do what you always do during the summer: read lots of good books. So why not tell us about your favorite? You’ll be entered in a drawing to win excellent prizes!

See a YouTube video montage of last years (2011) entries.

It’s simple to participate:

  1. You must be going into middle school, junior high or high school to enter.
  2. Create a short video no longer than three minutes. Make it a Video Book Review (talk about why the book is so great) or a Video Trailer (think movie trailer – you get to be even more creative this way).
  3. Post it to your YouTube account.
  4. Tag your YouTube Video with rfwKCLS2012.
  5. Enter your video in our contest here
  6. You can enter as many videos as you like – they just need to be have separate YouTube URLs and be entered separately.
  7. Keep tabs on what your friends are doing – we’ll be posting some of the most recent submissions below.

The contest runs through July, so please enter videos anytime between May 1 and July 31, 2012. Winners will be announced in August. Two $100 gift cards for Best Buy will be awarded.
