Teen Link is a local organization that provides support and counseling for teens who are dealing with violence, drug or alcohol abuse, family or relationship problems, or are contemplating suicide. The Teen Link helpline is a confidential, anonymous non-judgmental help line that is answered by teen volunteers. Toll free 1-866-TEENLINK (1-866-6546).

National Suicide Prevention Hotline

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national, 24-hour, and toll-free suicide prevention service available to all those in suicidal crisis who are seeking help. Individuals seeking help can dial 1-800-273-TALK (8255). They will be routed to the closest possible provider of mental health and suicide prevention services.

National Runaway Switchboard

NRS provides services for runaway and homeless youth, including a crisis line (1-800-RUNAWAY), message relays between families and runaways, and a bus ticket to get runaways back home.

King County Teen Health Clinics

The Teen AIDS Hotline

Amara Parenting and Adoption Services

Amara Parenting is a local adoption agency that focuses on long term well-being of children. The Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Program (TAPP) provides intensive, culturally appropriate services that include health care and nutrition education, training on parenting techniques, comprehensive sexuality information, help in finding housing and childcare, and assistance in developing educational and employment plans.
