Services to Senior, Disabled, or Homebound Patrons:

The Traveling Library Center’s mission is to provide access to residents of King County who are not able to visit their community libraries due to physical impediments such as age or disability.  Using bookcarts and mobile computers, TLC staff bring the library to you by providing a limited browsing collection, offering reading recommendations and some reference, and delivering requested materials.  TLC visits eligible retirement homes, nursing homes, and assisted care facilities once a month.

Our Words on Wheels service uses TLC staff and volunteers to deliver materials to homebound individuals in private residences or adult family homes.  Click here for more information or to see you or someone you know is eligible to receive service.
