Heading West on I-405: Take the first Tukwila Exit. Stay in the right lane and at the stoplight yield
to the right onto Interurban at the light, immediately prepare to make another
yield to the right onto Southcenter Blvd. You are now heading West on Southcenter
Blvd. After the next stoplight, look on your right for 65th Street. Go right
on 65th Street.
Follow 65th as it goes uphill and changes numbers, finally becoming 59th. Landmarks
to look for are a park on your right, then several groups of apartments. When
you reach the corner of 147th Street, on the left you will see the Fire Station.
Tukwila Library is located in the next building past the Fire Station. The library
is gray with white trim, and has large trees in front, and looks like an old
schoolhouse.
From I-5 Heading South:
Take the Southcenter Exit. Stay in the middle right lane and go through past
the Denny's on Southcenter Blvd. Heading east on Southcenter Blvd., look for
65th Street on your left, and make a left onto 65th Street.
(65th Street winds up the hill and all by itself changes numbers, finally becoming
59th Street, the street the library is on.)
Follow 65th uphill and continue until you have reached 147th Street. Landmarks
to look for are a park on your right, then several groups of apartments. When
you reach the corner of 147th Street, on the left you will see the Fire Station.
