The mission of the King County Library System is to provide free, open and equal access to ideas and information to all members of the community. The Internet is a global network that links millions of computers in universities, colleges, schools, corporations, government agencies and homes, providing communication and information services to students, researchers, businesses and the public. There is no single organization governing the Internet. King County Library System cannot control the resources on the Internet. Parents and guardians are responsible to supervise or place restrictions on their own children who are using this on-line information tool.
