Library Catalog Widgets:

The following automated features will help you easily access the library catalog.

  • Install our Firefox Toolbar Plug-In this add-on allows users to include important library related links on a toolbar that is designed to work in the Firefox Internet Browser.

  • Install our Internet Explorer Toolbar This application works best in Internet Explorer 7 and up. This feature adds a library customized toolbar to the Interet Explorer internet browser for quick and easy access at your fingertips.

  • Install the Windows Live Gallery to your toolbar. For users of Windows Live KCLS has cusomized a button for favorite places which allows users to easily intiate a inteaction with KCLS.

  • Install the Generic Widget this generic widget allows users to add the searchable KCLS catalog interface to their blog, Webpage or user profile in a variety of locations!

  • Search the Mobile (Text) Catalog from your cell phone or wireless device.This simple catalog allows users to place holds and check on their account from any handheld device.

Convenient Alerts

  • Automatically and conveniently receive RSS updates on new library materials (books, music, etc) and services. Works great with Google Reader, Bloglines and other RSS readers.

  • Keep track of your holds and what you check out from KCLS and other libraries, by using email, text, or RSS alerts from Library Elf.  
    Note: Library Elf requires submission of library card and pin numbers for all library accounts.
