From I-5 South:
Take exit 163A, Spokane Street/Columbia Way, to the West Seattle Bridge. Follow the West Seattle Bridge to the top of the hill. The street becomes Fauntleroy Way SW. Follow Fauntleroy Way SW through four sets of lights; the first set will be at the top of the hill at 35th Avenue SW. The fourth set is at SW Alaska. Stay in the left two lanes as you near the fourth set of lights. Bear left at the light and continue to follow Fauntleroy Way SW. You will see a Vashon Ferry sign on your right after crossing California Avenue SW. Continue, and turn right at the ticket booth for the ferry, about 1.6 miles after California Avenue SW.
After the ferry has docked on Vashon Island, follow the main highway up a steep hill, about 4.7 miles to the Vashon Library and turn left at 17210 Vashon Highway SW.
